1. I work for a company, university or government agency that is interested in economic development. Can you provide invention evaluations or product assessments for us?
Yes, provided you are interested in an assessment of the U.S. market potential. We feel that a solid understanding of the market is essential to competent assessment. For this reason, we focus on the US market.
2. Can local economic development groups become involved?
We have several resource partners that are local economic development groups. We invite others to join us. In addition, you may wish to consider using our evaluation/assessment services as part of your due diligence process.
3. We have an interest in using your system. Are licenses available?
Yes, under certain circumstances. At present, there are several users of our evaluation/assessment procedures. Licenses are available on a non-exclusive basis in the U.S. and on an exclusive or non-exclusive basis in other countries. For more information, please contact Dr. Gerald G. 4. Can our inventors' group join the WIN Resource Network?
Inventor groups are welcome to join our Resource Network. However, we encourage broader participation by our clients in inventor groups than is possible through the Network. Thus, we attempt to link all of our inventor clients with inventor groups through the United Inventors' Association (http://www.uiausa.org), which maintains an updated list of inventor organizations worldwide. Of course, inventor organizations are free to refer members and others to WIN, and to copy articles appearing in our E-journal, Innovation (in) Review.
5. We would like to join the WIN Resource Network. Can you send us information about how to do so?
The process is very simple, just fill out the resource information form and send it to us (addresses are on the form). If we need more information we will get back to you. If not, we will add your organization to our Resource Network database. By the way, firms, organizations, universities, or government agencies outside of the United States are also welcome to join the WIN Resource Network.
